Speaking 'Kiwi'

New Zealanders are often known as 'Kiwis'.  A kiwi is a native endangered flightless bird that we hold special.

In NZ we have our very own slang, which is a combination of both English and Maori language.

One of our sporting exports is Steven Adams, who is playing basketball for Oklahoma Thunder in the United States.  He has made this advertising video for one of his sponsors:

What do you think?

    1. I think it's quite funny too. Also it is cool how we sort of invented our own language, because they need subtitles to understand what he's saying.

    2. So true Jodi, Maybe when people come to interview us we will need a translater just so they can understand our so called 'Language'. I really enjoyed watching this bank add because it makes things that are usually boring just quite awesome. I still think they over exaggerated it a bit to much. wellI think our mate Steve deservers a chocolate fish for that spot on performance.
