Day one and Two Reflection and Looking Forward

Well...our first two days are done and dusted.  We've done a lot of administration and talking, and a little bit of getting to know each other.  I am really excited about the year ahead, and what we're going to achieve.  In the comments section below, I want to you write your name (only your first name), and answer each question:

1.  'Take up the Challenge' is our motto, and something I actively encourage. What do you want to do outside of the class this year?

2.  What things do you think are important for our class to run smoothly this year, with each person getting the most out of it?

  4. This year, in sport, I would like to make it into Sports Elite, make in into AIMS and make team of the tournament, play U-13s Futsal, and play Division 1A football. And in music, I would like to learn Bass Guitar, and Drums.

I think if people respect other people's property, treat other people kindly, and focus and try their hardest, then the class will run smoothly.

The things that I'd like to do outside the classroom are enter chess competitions at a inter school level at least twice, and join the Berkley orchestra and compete in music events.

For our class to run smoothly, we should listen and give feedback to each other, focus and concentrate on tasks at hand, work collaboratively and co-operatively, and maintain a positive attitude to each other and learning.

    1. This year I will be challenging myself by doing a lot of things, such as biking in a velodrome, sailing in lake Rotoroa, playing hockey in a new team and on a full field, moving cows around paddocks..., maybe hosting a student from Japan, meeting new people and making new friends

    2. I think it is important that everyone gets to know each other a bit, and that we all support each other by helping each other out.
